2016 Mazda MX-5

Thank you Drive Shop USA for lending me the 2016 Mazda Miata Mx-5 to test drive for a week. As you know , my opinions are pretty biased about Mazda,  being that they are one of my favorite makers for cars. So this post is going to be me gushing my admiration for the MX-5 ! 

The 2016 Mazda Miata Mx-5 embodies one word , Fun. An absolute thrill ride that I feel everyone must experience at least once in their lives. The Miata has been for years , a favorite for sports car enthusiasts and it's no wonder why. The Mx-5 has a 6 speed gear , and swaping from gear to gear was a breeze. The Mx-5 was very reaponside and drove off dairly smoothly. From the outside looking in the Mx-5 truly demands respect on the road. It's sleek yet aggressive design is an eye catcher. You can choose to drive with the top down for those warm California nights,  or have the top up if you don't want to have your hair in the air. One of my favorites about the Mx-5 is its stock exhaust, that bad boy is loud ! It was so hard resisting the urge to floor it , but even with the slightest tap of the gas you still received a very satisfying hum. 

On the inside of the Mx-5 everything was very sleek from the seats that hugged my body nicely , to the steering wheel that felt very nice in my small hands. It also wasn't hard to handle the steering wheel neither,  it was very smooth. The touch LCD screen is always a plus for me , Mazdas have a very nice navigation system that makes it easy to use and follow which I enjoy. The 1 set back for me was the size of the cabin , granted sports cars are well known for having small cabins . But I am 5 foot 3 and I felt a bit of a squeeze . Once you look past that , it's hard not to enjoy every minute of your ride inside the 2016 Mazda Mx-5 . 

In conclusion,  the Mazda Mx-5 is a wonderful weekend car to hop into after a long week day of working. It's a great way to indulge on some fun while on the road !

2016 Hyundai Tuscon

Id like to send a BIG thank you to Drive Shop USA and Hyundai USA for getting me inside of the 2016 Tuscon.

Being the second Hyundai I've ever test driven , I must say I am still so impressed ! First off , this color is Ruby Red and its gorgeous. Second , the silhouette of of the Tuscon is very modern and edgy. This five seater is perfect for loading up the entire family without having to compromise style.  The Tuscon is a great size without being too masive , I felt very comfortable diving a car this size around the city.

In the trunk you will have more than enough space to pack your families belongings , for day to day use or for trips. There is a button right on your key fob that will automatically open the trunk , and will close it once your done. Which is especially helpful for the not-so tall like myself , or if your hands are full - there will be no need to put thins on the ground just to close the trunk.

The 2016 Hyundai Tuscon has everything you'd want to make your driving experience enjoyable . The large center LCD touch screen with navigation , bluetooth , apps , and more was great. The electric steering wheel made the Tuscon easy to maneuver . Gas was awesome on either Eco , Regular , or Sport mode. I had more than enough in my tank after my 1 week of driving it. 

One of my absolute favorite things about any car is the sun roof , maybe its just the Californian in me - but when a car has a panoramic sun roof ? Im like a kid in a candy store every time I step in and buckle up ! 

The 2016 Tuscon has a very spacious cabin , all five passengers can sit comfortably . The roof is also high - for any tall passengers out there , you'll appreciate that ! 

In conclusion , I think the 2016 Hyundai Tuscon is a wonderful family car. Considering its space , its ease of use and it having an Eco mode to save gas I cant think of any family that wouldn't be great for the Tuscon.

Hyundai Elantra 2017

Many thanks to Drive Shop USA and Hyundai USA for allowing me to test drive the Hyundai Elantra 2017 ! 

This was my first time driving a Hyundai , and I was beyond pleased with everything that the Elantra had to offer ! 

Looking at the 2017 Elantra from the outside its clean cut , sharp , and trimmed. I really like the modern and futuristic look on the grill , and the sleek design on the rear. Your eyes naturally wont be able to help but look at this beauty and say "Wow" .

Despite the average size of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra on the exterior - the interior is massive (in the best way possible) . My photos weren't able to capture the true feel of the size , but all I've got to say is - leg space ! I loved the feeling of my shins not bumping into the door or center consol. I took the Elantra to down town L.A with 4 of my friends and they each had the same feeling. Lots and lots of space to be comfortable. The seats were nice and soft , both driver and passenger seats felt like they hugged your body very comfortably. 

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra has an electric steering wheel , making it very smooth to steer the car. I enjoyed the stero in the car as well , my music was very crisp and clear. It was also a nice feature getting to play around with the Bas , Treble , etc. and having the capability of where to focus the music in the car as well , either in between the driver and passenger , the center of the car , or in between the back seats. The touch screen LCD was very responsive and did not need much force from your finger to navigate through. And of course , the rear view camera was a great addition. Lastly , the 2017 Hyundai Elantra has 3 modes , Eco , Sport , or its regular driving mode. Gas was not a problem at all with the Elantra , a full tank lasted me a week and some.

To wrap it all up , I am a huge fan of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra. I would suggest this car to any one from a college student to a family , its a very well rounded car that I felt was safe , efficient, practical , and fun. I am looking forward to bringing you guys with more Hyundai car reviews - I must say as far as first impression goes , I was beyond impressed ! 

2017 Mitsubishi Mirage

Thank you Drive Shop USA and Mitsubishi USA for having me test drive the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage this week ! 

The first car I have ever tested from Drive Shop USA was the 2016 Mitsubishi Mirage. It was nice to be in the 2017 Mirage to compare and contrast my experience to last years model. 

The 2017 Mirage has gotten a face lift in comparison to the 2016. The grill looks much sportier and the size seems to have grown a bit too. Although bigger , The 2017 Mirage is still a small compact car that fits in many tight places. 

Many new high tech features are found in the 2017 Mirage that weren't in 2016's. Such as a touch screen with navigation , bluetooth , and much more. I appreciated the new rear view camera and blind spot warnings. With all of this in mind , something about me felt that there should be so much more though. Being a car built for 2017 , I felt that there should have been some kind of "wow" factor as far as technology in the car goes.  Imagining myself in 2017 - sitting in any car made for that year , I picture myself experiencing something futuristic. Last con , with the 2017 Mirage's "Eco" saving engine - I still found that the gas wasn't lasting me. It may be because I felt like The 2017 Mirage wasn't quick enough to pick up speed. So when the light turns green , I feel the need to really floor it. 

I did really appreciate the space inside the 2017 Mirage. As mentioned prior , this is a small car but it surely packs enough space for all 5 passengers. Everyone can sit comfortable with enough leg and arm space . The interior was very simplistic and not too decorated with other materials.

In conclusion , The 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage is for those who are looking into a new car without breaking the bank. You do have all your basic needs covered with the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage.

2016 Mazda CX-3

Huge thank you to Drive Shop USA and Mazda USA for allowing me to drive the 2016 Mazda CX-3 this week !

Its no secret that Mazda knows their way to my heart. One thing that always amazes me is how fast Mazdas are. The 2016 Mazda CX-3 has their "Sky Activity" built into the motor. Which is kind of like having an Eco friendly car. "Sky Activity" allows the CX-3 to be gas saving ,  light weight , and able to take off right when you step on the gas. I've got to say - the taking off part was my favorite.

At first glance , the sharp lines and edges on the front of the CX-3 scream sporty. The beautiful Ruby Red will have people turing their heads. The hatchback gives a very cute look to the exterior as well.  And its size will have people wondering , how this small hatchback can be so jam packed with power. 

The 2016 Mazda CX-3 is a compact sporty car , although not much leg space is provided - the soft leather seats are very comfortable. You have just about everything you'd expect from a 2016 car. You've got navigation , a rear view camera, blind spot warnings, USB and AUX ports, the list goes on. Which all come in handy and make your experience in the Mazda CX-3 that more amazing. 

I enjoyed the subtle red leather trims and side arm panels wrapped inside the CX-3. This gave the interior a very luxurious feel. 

In conclusion , the Mazda CX-3 is for the compact and sporty lovers out there. I see this car being perfect for students who are always having to cram into tight spaces. This is even a great city car - we all know how cray Los Angeles traffic is . All in all , if your looking for a gas efficient , fast , compact , and powerful car - the 2016 Mazda CX-3 is worth looking into. 

2016 Mitsubishi Lancer

This past week I was given the opportunity to test drive the 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer , all thanks to Drive Shop USA and Mitsubishi Motors USA. 

I've got to say if simplicity is your thing , The 2016 Lancer is just the car for you. 

The new Lancer is a comfortable ride that offers you the basics of getting from point A to point B. You have the freedom to choose between 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive modes , as well as an eco mode for efficient gas saving. 

This years Lancer has gotten a new facelift. As you can see , the traditional grill has been modified to look much softer in my opinion. Which did not bother me - I found it to sill be just as attractive.

I was very happy with the space inside of the Lancer , for a sedan - it provided a lot of leg space. The week of having the Lancer , I drove a full car around everywhere. Each passenger was comfortable in the front and back seats.

Overall , Comfort and Simplicity are the words that kept coming up while test driving the 2016 Lancer. If your lifestyle requires these two things , The 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer will suit you well ! 

Exploring With The 2016 Mazda 6

Nothing goes more hand in hand like a fun thrill ride and safety . The 2016 Mazda 6 is nothing short of that , being fully equipped with everything you need for your next adventure. I had the pleasure of test driving the 2016 Mazda 6 courtesy of Drive Shop USA and Mazda USA . This 5 seater sedan is one heck of a thrill ride.

Exterior presence is one of the many things that will capture your interest about the Mazda 6. Every pronounced line and edge gives the 6 a very powerful look on the streets. The strip of light right under the grill is a very subtle yet bold touch . 

Inside the Mazda 6 is where all the fun begins ! 

The moment you take a seat inside , every button and function is at an arms reach. Mazda made each daily operation such as the Navigation and Audio next to the driver. Through time , operating all those buttons will feel like second nature. Having a touch screen as well as a twist-able gear to get yourself through your screen is very user friendly and safe. Someone like myself with very short arms , who would need to hunch over to the screen really appreciates it! On the topic of safety , The Mazda 6 has a rear view camera as well as blind spot warnings. Both of which are great features to assure yourself that you're more than safe on the road. What I really enjoy about Mazda's is how responsive they are. The gas and break pedals were very smooth , and If I wanted to go fast .. boy do I go real fast! Zoom Zoom !

Overall , my experience with the 2016 Mazda 6 was wonderful. Mazda does a great job at adding what counts. Nothing about the 6 was confusing or pointless , everything had a purpose and it did not go unappreciated.
